Our plan was to grab a coffee and a quick bite before dinner in the evening. We stopped by a few cafes, but they had either run out of desserts or were already closing up. There were some rather unsavory-looking homeless people hanging out in front of this place; sitting outside felt a bit unsettling, so we chose to sit indoors. The young person behind the counter was so friendly and polite that I was really glad we decided to come in. On their recommendation, I ordered a brownie to go with our coffee... I never imagined I’d have such a delicious brownie. It was absolutely fantastic, and the coffee was definitely well above average, too. From what I could tell, the place has a loyal following of high-quality regulars. As for the people outside—don't ask; I have no idea. 🙈😂 If you’re ever in the area, definitely stop by; you certainly won't regret it.

A great spot to grab a coffee, tea, or even a glass of wine in the late afternoon. The atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and full of energy, it never disappoints. I also love that the local chess club meets here every Sunday. It gives the café an extra dose of character!

I got a cold brew and it was really good compared to other locations. The Capicola and Fig sandwich was really good and a lot better than expected. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but they taste better than most sandwiches places in LA. There's a lot of seating areas inside and outside. The staff was really nice and fast when making your order.

I have been coming hear at least twice a week. It a nice place to get work done or for a meeting. However, I have found hair in my food twice now. Once it was cookie and now it was my sandwich. I have asked for a hot latte and for some reason I get a cold latte. They are nice about fixing a simple mistake but it’s a little annoying. Some of the half of barista’s are super chill and sweet but the other half are hell passive aggressive and snappy. Update: July 14th Depending on the barista and experience depends on how your drinks will taste. I ordered a hot matcha and got a cold one, they did they didn’t have a problem with remaking it. However! The girl was going to put my cold matcha with ice in it and try to heat it up that way. It tastes terrible and I throw that in trash and just purchased a chia latte. That I had to pay for.

Can’t recommend this place for a matcha sadly. Definitely would recommend them to level up their matcha to ceremonial grade (hopefully the right person is reading this). Great big place with lots of seating. Bakery tastes great. I’m sure coffee is great here, even though I don’t drink it, but hopefully one day I can enjoy a good matcha as well :)
